Following amendments to the Government Sector Employment Act (2013), the Public Service Commission was merged with the Premier's Department from 1 July 2024. This website is now managed and maintained by the Premier's Department.
NSW government sector employees have an important role to play in maintaining confidence in our systems of government.
The work we do makes a difference in the lives of millions of people across NSW. Our people and communities both expect and need us to act ethically, fairly and comply with the law. We must spend public money wisely and maintain trust in our systems and institutions now and into the future.
We are launching our Ethics Hub to help you understand the fundamentals of what it means to be a public servant in NSW, and to help you navigate challenging ethical scenarios that may arise in the course of your work.
The Ethics Hub includes information on The Code of Ethics and Conduct for NSW Government Sector Employees (the Code) and the Ethical Framework. These are important documents for NSW government sector employees to understand.
